The Get Text endpoint returns the main textual content extracted from the specified URL, excluding navigation, comments, headers, and footers. The response includes fields such as the title, description, and the main content of the page.
The key fields in the response data include "error" (indicating success or failure), "message" (providing status information), "data" (containing the extracted content), "url" (the source URL), "title," "description," and "content."
The response data is organized in a JSON format. It contains a top-level object with "error" and "message" fields, followed by a "data" object that includes the extracted text, title, description, and links related to the content.
The Get Text endpoint provides information such as the main article or blog content, the title of the page, a brief description, and any relevant links. It focuses solely on textual data from the specified URL.
Users can customize their data requests by specifying different URLs from which they want to extract text. However, the URL must be longer than 500 characters to be processed by the API.
The data is sourced directly from the specified URL provided by the user. The API employs web scraping techniques to extract the text content, ensuring that only relevant information is retrieved.
Data accuracy is maintained through the scraping process, which targets specific HTML elements to extract text. However, the accuracy may vary based on the structure of the source webpage and its content.
Typical use cases include content creation, research, and information retrieval from articles or blogs. Users can quickly gather text for summaries, analyses, or to curate content from multiple sources.

The free trial ends when you reach 50 API requests or after 7 days, whichever comes first.
No, the free trial is available only once, so we recommend using it on the API that interests you the most. Most of our APIs offer a free trial, but some may not include this option.
