About the API:
This API uses Google Cloud Vision to detect any landmark in a given picture with high accuracy.
Pass the image URL that you want to analyze and receive the detected landmark with its name.
Sort your image databases: This API is ideal for those companies with large image databases that want to detect and sort them by landmark. Be able to group your images by locations and landmarks.
Programatically landmark detection: If you receive a bulk of images, you can easily figure out in which of them appears a certain landmark. Create a programmatic way to label your images by location and landmarks.
Besides API call limitations per month, there are no other limitations.
Pass the image URL from where you want to detect any landmarks.

The Detect Landmark endpoint returns data about recognized landmarks in the provided image. This includes the landmark's name, location coordinates, and confidence score indicating the accuracy of the detection.
The key fields in the response data typically include "landmarkName," "location," and "confidenceScore." These fields provide essential information about the detected landmark and its reliability.
The response data is organized in a JSON format, where each detected landmark is represented as an object within an array. Each object contains fields for the landmark's name, location, and confidence score.
The Detect Landmark endpoint provides information on recognized landmarks, including their names and geographical coordinates. It focuses on famous landmarks globally, enhancing image categorization.
The primary parameter for the Detect Landmark endpoint is the "imageUrl," which specifies the URL of the image to analyze. Users can customize requests by providing different image URLs for detection.
Data accuracy is maintained through the use of Google Cloud Vision technology, which employs advanced machine learning algorithms. Continuous updates and training on diverse datasets help improve detection reliability.
Typical use cases include sorting large image databases by landmark, programmatically labeling images for organization, and enhancing travel applications by identifying landmarks in user-uploaded photos.
Users should check the confidence score in the response. If results are empty or scores are low, it may indicate that no landmarks were detected. Users can refine their image input or try different images for better results.
