The Get Score endpoint returns data regarding a domain's safety status, reputation, confidence levels, child safety ratings, and relevant categories. The response includes fields like "status," "reputation," "confidence," and "categories" with their respective confidence scores.
Key fields in the response include "safety" (with "status," "reputation," and "confidence"), "childSafety" (with "reputation" and "confidence"), and "categories" (listing category names and their confidence scores).
The response data is structured as a JSON object. It contains nested objects for safety and child safety, along with an array of categories. Each category includes an ID, name, and confidence score, allowing for easy parsing and analysis.
The Get Score endpoint provides information on a domain's safety status, overall reputation score, confidence level, child safety rating, and a list of relevant categories with confidence scores, helping users assess the domain's trustworthiness.
The Get Score endpoint accepts a single parameter: the domain name (e.g., "bbc.com"). Ensure the domain is formatted correctly, as the API will return results based on the provided domain.
Data accuracy is maintained through continuous monitoring and updates from reliable sources. The API employs quality checks to validate domain information, ensuring users receive trustworthy and up-to-date safety assessments.
Typical use cases include filtering domain databases for safety, assessing websites for child-friendliness, and evaluating domains for reputation and confidence. Agencies can use this API to enhance web safety measures for clients.
Users can utilize the returned data by analyzing the safety status and reputation scores to make informed decisions about domain usage. The confidence scores help gauge the reliability of the information, while category insights assist in identifying the domain's purpose.
